Philip U. Po

Biography

Doctor Philipp U. Po was born in Tacloban City, Leyte. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree from the Divine Word University (cum laude; 13th placer in the PRC Medical Technology Board Examinations). He obtained his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Santo Tomas (Benemeritus). He also obtained his Master of Occupational Health from the University of the Philippines (College Scholar). He is a candidate for Doctor of Philosophy major in Biological Science at the UST Graduate School. He is now an Assistant Professor 1 of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Santo Tomas; he is the head, Committee on Research, Department of Preventive, Family, and Community Medicine; a member, Committee on Continuing Medical Education; a member, Center for Health Science Research, UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery; and a Core Staff, St. Martin de Porres Community Socio-Medical Center, Bulacan. Dr. Po is a diplomate of the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine.
