Peter P. Ng

Biography

Doctor-Attorney Peter P. Ng was born in Tacloban City, Leyte. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree from the Divine Word University (4th placer in the PRC Medical Technology Board Examinations). He obtained four professional and graduate degrees from the University of Santo Tomas namely: Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (Benemeritus), Doctor of Philosophy major in Biological Science (Summa cum laude), Bachelor of Laws, and Master of Hospital Administration (Summa cum laude). He was a government scholar at the National Defense College of the Philippines where he obtained his Master of National Security Administration degree (RC 32 Class Valedictorian). He obtained his Master of Public Health from the University of the Philippines (College Scholar), and he had his medical internship at the UP -Philippine General Hospital (Outstanding Intern in Surgery). He obtained the General Staff Corps CL42 from the AFP Command and General Staff College. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor 3 of the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Graduate School, and Faculty of Civil Law. He is a Lieutenant Colonel of the Philippine Navy (Marines) (Reserve) and a Battalion Commander of the 3rd Technical Service BN, TSB (Res); a member of the Board of Admissions, Theses Chairman/Member, and Lecturer of the National Defense College of the Philippines; a Guest Lecturer/Associate Faculty of the AFP Command and General Staff College and Philippine Army Command Staff School. Dr. Ng is a diplomate and fellow of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians.
