    Description:

This Book is a work in progress as it is intended to “march apace” with the newly promulgated penal laws, and recent jurisprudence. With the passage of R.A. 11479 otherwise known as the “Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020”, and R.A. 11648 otherwise known as “An Act Promoting for Stronger Protection Against Rape and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Increasing the Age for the Determination of Statutory Rape…” the commentaries in some pertinent provisions of the Revised Penal Code advanced in the first edition were affected and became inapplicable. There is therefore a great need to revise the book.

This book, Revised Penal Code (Book 2), should certainly be in the hands of every practitioner of the law profession, law student and scholar, and even laymen who take to heart the statement “we are men of laws”. For as the oft-quoted adage goes “ignorance of the law excuses no one”. It pays to remember the words of Bertolt Brecht: “The law was made for one thing alone, for the exploitation of those who don’t understand it... “In this book, the author took pains to make the focal themes discussed comprehensible to all.
