ABOUT Judge Ma. Rowena V. Alejandria

Judge Ma. Rowena Violago Alejandria is presently the Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 121, Caloocan City. She earned a Bachelor’s degree major in Journalism at the University of Santo Tomas. She graduated Bachelor of Laws at San Sebastian College-Recolletos, Manila and passed the Philippine Bar in 2002. She finished her Master of Laws at San Beda University – Manila, Graduate School of Law in 2019. Before her appointment to the judiciary, she was with the Public Attorney’s Office since 2003 until her appointment as Prosecutor in the Department of Justice in 2008. She teaches Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Evidence at Polytechnic University of the Philippines, University of Caloocan City and San Sebastian College-Recoletos. She is also a Bar Lecturer at Albano Bar Review Center.
