The main objective of the revision of the Law on Marriage is the same as that of the original. However, for reasons of clarity, easier reading, correction, and update, there are major changes. Some of the changes arise out of decisions of the Supreme Court applying some articles of the Family Code. Others are to make the book more blanced in the treatment and discussion of the articles on the law on marriage.
